Kirsten Dunst: ‘If I Had A Beau Now, I Wouldn’t Say’

Kirsten Dunst is not the type of celebrity who fans will probably see walking the red carpet with a boyfriend – in fact, the “Spider-Man 4” star said she might even keep any future marriages under wraps.

“If I had a beau now, I wouldn’t say,” the 27-year-old actress told Allure magazine in its December issue. “Until I’m married, and even then, why?”

And a walk down the aisle doesn’t appear to happening anytime soon. The actress told the mag that she’s moving to an even smaller New York apartment than her current two bedroom – one without a guest room.

“My girlfriends will sleep in bed with me, but no guests, not long-term, anyway,” Kirsten said.

And when former flame Jake Gyllenhaal comes up, she reveals that they have not remained close following their 2005 split.

“It would be nice to see him,” she explained. “But, we’re not good friends.”

The dim-bulb defendant accused of swiping the purse of "Spider-Man" starlet Kirsten Dunst from a SoHo Grand suite escaped a web of trouble Friday.A Manhattan jury acquitted James Jimenez on one burglary charge and deadlocked on two other burglary charges. The high school dropout - whose defense was that he was too dopey to have committed the crime - was found guilty of a misdemeanor criminal trespass. "I feel pretty good," Jimenez said, clutching a Bible. "In God I trust." Jimenez, 35, was charged with an Aug. 2007 break-in at the SoHo Grand, where Dunst and Simon Pegg were filming "How to Lose Friends and Alienate People." In his turn on the witness stand, Jimenez said he cluelessly followed a pal into the unlocked suite, and didn't know the buddy snatched Dunst's $2,000 handbag and Pegg's iPod and camera. He told the jury he thought he was on an errand for his pal's sick mom - at 4 a.m. One holdout juror bought his story, which followed star witness testimony from Pegg and Dunst. Kirsten Dunst: Movie Star, Star Witness

Kirsten Dunst is apparently better at banter onscreen than off.
So it was today as the Spider-Man star took the stand for 30 minutes of rambling, giggling testimony in the burglary trial of a mechanic believed to be the mastermind of a 2007 heist of $15,000-plus worth of goodies from Dunst's hotel room
James Jimenez, 35, is accused of sneaking into the actress's unlocked penthouse suite at the SoHo Grand Hotel while she was in town filming the 2008 comedy How to Lose Friends and Alienate People with Simon Pegg and Megan Fox.
Prosecutors allege Jimenez and Jarrod Beinerman, 34, made off with a $13,000 Balenciaga bag, a $2,500 Marc Jacobs handbag, her wallet, credit cards, iPod, cash, cell phone, two cameras and, yes, even lip balm.
The 27-year-old Dunst told jurors she had been in the suite with Pegg, some crew members and movie mogul Harvey Weinstein watching YouTube clips and eating takeout from Nobu. The two actors then left to shoot their final scenes when the bandits struck...
"It was our last night of filming, so we were celebrating," she said. Upon returning to the room, her assistant noticed something was amiss—and a-missing. Including her pricey purse.
"It was probably a $2,000 purse," Dunst said, per the New York Daily News. "It had $2,000 in it, a pair of sunglasses, my wallet with all my credit cards." She let out a giggle when she remembered the lip balm was also AWOL.
Following her to the stand was Pegg (Star Trek, Shaun of the Dead), who told the court his reaction to the break-in.
"It dawns on you slowly because, obviously, you don't want to think that happened," he said.
Jimenez has pleaded innocent. If convicted, he could face up to 15 years behind bars. His accomplice, Beinerman, already pleaded guilty last year to attempted burglary and was given a four-year prison term.
Prosecutors look to have a solid case. Both men were not only spotted on surveillance video entering the suite, but a production assistant also saw them and testified that the two pretended to be maintenance workers who had come to fix the drain.

'Spider-Man 4' gets a rewrite

A new writer has been caught in the "Spider-Man 4" web. Gary Ross, who worked on a range of films from biopic "Seabiscuit" to animated kids' feature "The Tale of Despereaux," will work on rewriting the superhero movie, according to The Hollywood Reporter. We don't know exactly what the plot of the fourth movie was (or, for that matter, why it needs a rewrite) outside some vague hints dropped in June by Sony producer Todd Black: A wedding between Peter Parker and Mary-Jane Watson isn't in the works, and the villain will be a big part of New York." Stars Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst and director Sam Raimi have all signed on for "Spider-Man 4" for a scheduled release date of May 6, 2011.
